Aylsham Dog Training was established in 2017 and has grown steadily ever since. Becca’s passion for dogs began at a young age, but her training journey truly started with Shay — her German Shepherd x Malamute — who shaped her understanding of behaviour, communication, and fair, consistent training.
Becca now specialises in dog-to-dog reactivity, alongside a strong focus on pet gundog training. Between her and her team, they share their lives with three Labradors and two Spaniels — breeds she works with daily and knows inside out.
Her approach centres on balance: building drive and enthusiasm while developing calmness, self-control, and clear boundaries. With pet gundogs in mind, Becca focuses on creating practical, real-life obedience and steadiness, helping owners enjoy capable, responsive dogs that are a pleasure to live with both at home and out in the real world.

Our dog training in Aylsham and Norfolk is delivered through structured programmes, specialising in pet gundog training and real-world behaviour. Rather than one-off sessions, we work with you and your dog over several months to create calm, responsive behaviour that lasts.
We start by understanding your dog’s breed, routine, previous training, and the specific challenges you’re facing. With pet gundogs, behaviours such as pulling, poor recall, over-excitement, and distraction are often driven by natural instincts like hunting, scenting, and retrieving. Our training focuses on channelling these instincts into controlled, workable behaviour rather than trying to suppress them.
Training takes place in real-world environments across Aylsham and Norfolk, not just controlled settings. We focus on practical skills such as lead walking, recall, engagement, and neutrality around distractions, helping your dog learn how to make better decisions outside.
Throughout the programme, we build focus, impulse control, and a strong dog-handler relationship, while giving you clear, step-by-step guidance on what to do between sessions. The goal is simple: a calm, responsive dog that listens, even when the environment is working against you.

Stay in the loop with everything we’ve got going on — from training tips and advice, to upcoming classes, availability, and updates.
Whether you’re just getting started or already working through training, we’ll send useful, no-nonsense content to help you and your dog progress.
